New Head for New School

Hope Brook Church of England Primary School have made the announcement that they have appointed Mrs Stephanie Severn as the new Headteacher of the school. Mrs Severn has been the Acting Head for over a year following the sudden dismissal by the Governors of Mrs Rowena Brace in April 2006 on poor management grounds.

On the school's website, www.hopebrook.gloucs.sch.uk the Chair of Governors, Mr Peter Sanigar said:

"Dear Parent/Guardian

I am pleased to be able to tell you that the Governors have appointed Mrs. Stephanie Severn as Head Teacher with immediate effect. I know that you have worked with Mrs. Severn for over three terms and am sure that you will continue to support her in the future."

Hopefully the school will have a fresh and stable future, with pupil numbers already rising to well over 100, the popularity seems to be on the up. Longhope website wishes the new Head, and all the staff and pupils a happy future.
