House Fire in The Willows

A fire broke out at a house in The Willows, Longhope, this afternoon, as a result of an electrical fault in an airing cupboard. Two fire appliances attended and were on the scene for some time. Most residents of The Willows have always been worried that fire engines would not be able to attend a fire because of the large number of their cars that have to park on the road outside their homes, blocking the way through in an emergency, but fortunately, this wasn't the case today.
