Longhope Fête News

What is supposedly the 91st Fête is due to take place on Saturday, 3rd July, back on the refurbished Recreation Ground. As in days of old, the procession of fancy dress walkers, dignitaries, and the Prince and Princess will start from the Manor House Nursing home at 1-30pm, ready for the 2-00pm opening ceremony. Along with all the usual events, the highlights in the centre arena this year will be a dog agility display team and Hope Brook School will be entertaining. Admission will be £1 for adults and 50p for children, so get your programme either on the day, or before, from the usual village retail outlets.
