Latest News of Longhope Fête

Longhope Fête is going ahead this year, despite fears that it would not. It is being advertised as "The 90th Longhope Fête" but the website jury is still out on that claim! (Research is still ongoing.) It will take place on Saturday, 4th July, but with a slightly different format. The fancy dress procession will commence at 1-30pm from The Manor Residential Home along Church Road, and not the traditional start in The Latchen. The Fête will take place at Hope Brook C of E School (as The Rec is out of bounds this year) using the school hall and catering facilities, but toilets will be at The Pavilion as usual. The Fête will be opened at 2-00pm. The sun has been ordered, so expect to have a good time! See you all there and try to get your photo on this website!!
