The recent floods in Longhope have caused many concerns among the residents living in the village and along Church Road. The problem appears to be from the building site, at Keenes' Hill (lower right) which is blocking Barley Brook and it is - instead - flowing across the road. Many pedestrians walking along the footpaths have been soaked by inconsiderate drivers driving without due care and attention - a criminal offence. Could this be alleviated by improving the main sewerage system in the road?
