First Snow Of Winter

The first snowfall of the winter has hit Longhope today. Following torrential rain all day causing some localised flooding and traffic problems later during the rush-hour, the temperature dropped in the early afternoon, and the rain turned to snow for a time, giving a dusting of snow.
