From the 15th March 2001, Longhope, Huntley and May Hill will get a new vicar. Reverend Martin Thompson, currently assistant curate in the parish of St. Peter with St. Owen and St. James in Hereford.
Rev. Thompson knows the area fairly well as he used to be a company finance director for many years in Goodrich.
Anyone who wishes to see the new vicar sworn in by the Bishop of Tewkesbury and the Rt. Rev. John West, there will be a ceremony in Longhope All Saints' Church on Thursday, 15th March at 19:30 (7:30pm).
