Another Road Death

Another road death occurred today on the A40 Ross Road, only a few hundred metres from where another fatal accident occurred in May. This time it was near the Willowstone works and involved three vehicles - a lorry from Cornwall, a Rover driven by a 43 year-old man from Drybrook, and a Citroen Saxo driven by a 24 year-old man also from Drybrook. The man in the Citroen was taken to the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, but died later of his injuries. The road was closed for six hours.

This comes as sad news, after a great deal of time, work, and money, had gone into improving this stretch of road, as may be seen from the photographs.
