The well known Mohair Centre just outside Longhope near Royal Spring has announced that it has closed as the owners are seeking planning permission to extend the Mohair Centre into a £2m redevelopment of the site, that will become known as The Dick Whittington Centre.
A small number of protestors are worried that the site will cause more accidents at the busy junction with the A4136. Signs of protest can be seen along the main road near the site.
If the plans are accepted, the 108-acre site will be opening around next Spring. The Dick Whittington Centre promises to be a fun and enjoyable day out for all of the family.
