A raid by police on a small farm in Little London, Longhope, found £10,000 worth of cannabis plants. Over 200 very well established plants were removed from a stable block at Hinders Lodge, where a hydroponics system was in operation, along with a lighting and ventilation system worth around £5,000. A man and a woman (both aged 51 years) were arrested at the property on suspicion of cannabis cultivation. Apparently the police had acted on a tip-off from the general public. Many people are surprised and shocked at the news that this has been going on our doorstep.
