Over the next five years BT are installing super-fast fibre optic broadband around the country, but Longhope is not on the announced roll out plan. However, they want people to vote online so they know where demand is at its greatest and to fast track the Longhope Exchange to receive BT's Infinity next. The five areas with the most votes by midnight on 31st December, 2010 will win the chance to bring superfast broadband to their village, which will operate in early 2012.
